Think people. . . you are spending $19. 99 for some lettuce? Go to your grocery store and buy oraganic lettuce. This product is beyond a ripoff.

I bought the 6-pod Aerogrow with gourmet herb seeds. Everything grew pretty well, except the chives, which they replaced but were still so thin they wouldn’t be much use in cooking. They gave me an extra cilantro, which grew very well. The dill frequently dried out at the top because it was too close to the bulbs. Mint grew almost too fast to use. I used basil the most and it was excellent. I called Aerogrow when thyme and oregano stopped growing, and was told it was the end of the growing season, so, in other words, they expect you to purchase a new seed kit and nutrients every 4 months, an expensive way to get herbs. I am considering buying a salad greens set next, but I am not sure of the quality after reading some of these reviews. It is out of stock at Aerogrow–perhaps they’re improving it. A fun hobby for a non-gardener, but not cheap.

Of all of the aerogarden products, this was the biggest disappointment. While they grow abundantly, these greens have no flavor and wilt pathetically almost immediately after cutting. Texture was rubbery. Would not recommend these. Try the herbs.

Very pleased with all aerogarden products. My flowers are planted and
have come up, but the blooms have a way to go. Yes, very pleased, and thank you, Amazon.
